ASSISTED PASSAGES TO BE GRANTED. (R«c. January. 31, 9.30 p.m.) Sydney, January 31. Mr. W. A. Bolman (New South Wales Premier) has instructed Mr. Wade (the State Agent-General in London) to extend tho benefit of assisted passages to the wives of soldiers who have- married in Britain desirous of emigrating. Mr. Wade states that two thousand marriages were solemnised recently, averaging over eight hundred a month. —Press Assn.
