MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE
AN INVERCARGILL GIRL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Inveroargill, January 30. Annie Casey, seventeen years, disappeared ui'accountably, on Sunday. She was in the domestic employ of Mrs. Stewart, -Southhill End. On Sunday , she rode t» her parent's place at Centre Bush, eight miles distant, returning in the evening. Tho girl was nccompaniel part of the way by a girl friend, and later overtook a gig driven by' W. Crowe, and accompanied him a short distance, then cantered -towards Stewart's.- Next morning the Stewarts found the horse in the paddock, tho saddle and the bridle hung TO in tho usual place, but no traco o~f the girl. Her bed had not been slept in. Her effects had not been touched. Search parties have found no trace so far The . girl • was in good spirits a:! day, and is not known to ne in trouble of any kind.
