; FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for north-easterly to south-easterly winds, freshening strong to gale. Weather changeable, with increasing cloudiness, and rain following generally. Barometer falling in the north, but rising shortly in the south. Atmospherio pressure has risen Bteadily in the north, but nroved unsteady in the south. Winds have been variable. Fair to cloudy weather has ruled to-day, but Bhowers are reported in OUigo, Conditions are threatening for the north-west of the Dominion. D. 0. BATES, Director.
