BOMB OUTRAGE AT BROKEN HILL

As cabled recently, an attempt to destroy the "Barrier Miner" newspaper office at Broken Hill by a bomb was made between 12 and half-past 12 o'clock on a recent Sunday morning:. The bomb, it was supposed, was placed or cast through the leadlight near the main door opening from Sulphide Street, and the explosion did considerable damage in the literary and commercial departments.
