BONUS FOR MUNITION WORKERS

(Roe. January 24, 8.10 p.m.) London, January 23. The Press Bureau states: "The War Cabinet has decided from January 1 to pay a bonus of 7$ per cent, to all pieceworkers engaged in munition work, oxcept iron and steel trades, provid-jd that any bonus or war advance which in the case of time-workers was merged in their recent grant of 12} per cent, shall also merge in the present bonus for piece-workers. -A special conference of the employers and employees in the iron and steel trades has boon called to consider tho form in which this bonus shall bo applied regarding a settlement in those trades of 12J per cent, bonus.—Aus.-N.Z.
