The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co,, Ltd., report :-At Alfredton on Monday we had a large yarding of eUeep and a fair one of cattle. There was a good attendance, and eheep met with very lair competition, but there was not much demand" for cattle. Practically the whole of our yarding of sheep was disposed of at the following prices :-Fat ewes, 28s. Bd.; four-tooth wethers, 295. 6d. to 295. 9d.: two and fonr-tooth wethers, 28s. 9d.: cull two-tooth ewes and wethers, 155.; b f. lambs, 14s. lid.; Rood w»f. wether lambs, 135.; medium, 7s. to 7s. 9d.; cull do., is. 7d. to 65.; yearling steera, £9 193.; store cows, £5 2s. 6d.; bdlls, £12 55.; pony, £7.
