THE AUSTRIAN CRISIS FURTHER CONCESSIONS BY • THE GOVERNMENT STRIKES ENDING v (Rcc. January 24, 1.45 a.m.) London, January 23. Vienna messages state that tho Emperor Karl lias refused Dr. ■ Seidler's and Count Wekerle's resignations, commanding them to retain their Ministries and accede to tho popular' demands regarding .food supply, the extension of the communal franchise, women's suffrage, and tho civil control of industry. Dr. Seidler has further announced that the Government aimed at a speedy and general peace, without ' annexations, permitting Poland to settle her own relationships with Austria. All strikes are' ceasing and work has heen resumed.—"The Times."
