ANOTHER SET-BACK FOR THE ENEMY (Rec. January 22, 8 p.m.) London, January 21. The Press Bureau states:—"Tho Arab forces have carried out successful operations sinco January 1. In the neighbourhood of Maan they occupiel a strong position at Abulissal, and also at Maghaira, and compelled the Turks to evacuate tho Hish Forest, which was a serious blow to tho fuel supply system for tho Medina railway. After a two days' engagement north of Maan tho Arabs occupied Jaufedderwish, killed eighty, and captured two hundred, and ono fieldg'la. British aeroplanes thrice bombed Maan."—Aus.-N.Z.
