LODGE MEETING

, At the meeting of Victoria (RebekaiO Lodge, No. 2, 1.0.0. F. (A.C.), htld last Thursday in tho lodge room, Esperanto Hall, Sister 0. Gordon, N.G , presided over a large attendance of members. Bro. R. Robb (Gisboruo), Deputy Grand Master, was present, and, assisted by Bro. J. Nind, J'.G.. Bro. H. H. Coote, P.D.D.G.M., Bro! Alf West, P.G., and Sister A. Bodley, P.N.G., installed the following officers into their respective chairs:—l.P.N.G., Sister O. CJordon; N.G., Sister 1). (i. Duff; V.G., Sister A. M'Clatcliey; rec. secretary, Sister (J. Lcaman; finance secretary, Sister C. Edmaiißon (ro-elected); treasurer, Sister A. Bodley, P.N.G. (re-elected); W., Sister N. Fidmanson. P.N.G.; C.. Sister M. Barr; chaplain, Sister E. Wilson; R.S.N.G.. Sister 10. Bodley; L.S.N.G., vSister L. Lee; R.S.V.G., Sister E. Lee; L.S.V.G., Sister Maley; 1.G., Sister L. M'Cabe.

Bro. Robb, D.G.M., delivered an interesting address on tho rise and progress of Odd fellowship, a.nd on liplinlf of the installing officers presented Sister Dulf, N.G., with a bouquet of pink sweet peas; also on behalf of tho lodge members a .P.N.CJ.'s collar to Sister A. Bodley, P.N.G., in recognition of her valued sen-ices; and t') Sister N. Edmanson a framed P.N.G.'s certificate. A banquet was afterwards hold. The tobies were tastefully decorated with pink and green, tho lodge colours. The following toasts were honoured"The King," proposed by Sister I). G. Duff. N.O. ; "Grand Lodge and Installing Officers/' proposed by Sister A. Bodley, P.N.G., and responded to by Bro. R. Robb, I).G.:vt.; "Newly-installed Officers," proposed by Sister'N. Edmanson, P.N.G., ( and lesmnded to by Sisters D. G. Duff,. N.G., and A. M'Clatchy, V.G.; and "Absent Friends," proposed by Bro. J. Nind, P.G., and responded' to by Bro. A. West. P.G. A very enjoyable evening concluded with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
