FARMER'S SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hawera, January 21. Mr. William 15. Wills, a farmer, died suddenly on Saturday night. Deceased was aged 45, and always enjoyed good health. On Saturday he went to hod about 9 o'clock, hut later asked for a drink. His wifo brought him a drink of milk as soon as possible ; but on returning found him breathing heavily. She got a brother to send for a doctor, but deceased expired before the doctor arrived. Dr. Sloan, of Hawera, conducted the post-mortem yesterday and found that death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. The inquest was held this morning, and a verdict returned that death was duo tn natural causes. Doeeaso'd, who was popular in the district, leaves a widow and four children.
MAN HANGS HIMSELF. Hy Telegraph—l'ress Association. Dannovirke, January 21. John Rigby, 45 years of age, after being missing for soino days, turned up at his former residence and hanged himself. lie arrived from the South Island six months ago. An inquest was held, and a verdict returned of death by hanging, thero being no evidence to show that lie was mentally deficient.
