CHILD DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Ghrisioliurch, January 17. Nala Prttdcnte M'Clitrg, aged 21 months, was found drowned in tho estuary at Itedclills. It is supposed she fell over tho embankment. BUICIDE. Invercargillg January 17. David Sutherland, a corporation employee, committed suicide by cutting his' throat with a razor. Deceased had been worrying over the war. A brother was recently killed. Deceased leaves no children.
