The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report, :-At Feilding on Friday. a moderate entry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle came forward. There woe a large attendance of the public, and the bulk of the yarding was quitted. Store lambs. 7s. 3d.; forward lambs, 135.; woolly store lambs 6s. to Bs. 6d.; mixed two-tooth black-face sheep, 225. 6d.; two-tooth weth--ere, 275.; mixed weanera, £5 25.; bull, £14. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd.. report-.-We held our weekly sale at Carterton on Friday, January 11, when we submitted a good yarding of both sheep and cattle to a large attendance of farmers. The recent soft weather has liai an improving effect on tho feed prospects, consequently we were able to quit practically the whole of our yarding at considerably above late rates.
