PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION
It is announced that a conference of delegates from the provincial centres will be held in Wellington on January 130 and 31. Representatives from Invercargill. Gore, Diinedin, Oamaru, Timani, Ashhurton, Chrisloliurch, Wellington, Miisterton, Palmerston, Wangamii Napier, Jlamilton, and Auckland will be present. The Hon. William Earrishaw, the Rev. G. Knowles Smith, Major J. M'Donald Johnston, Messrs. George J. Petherick, J.P., and J. Aston, J.P., are the Wellington delegates. These meetings are preliminary to the holding of a Dominion Conference at a later date, when iJie whole of the branches of the P.P.A. throughout New Zealand will he represented, and which thereafter will becoino an animal event.
