GERMANS SHORT OF FOOD AND AMMUNITION. « London, January 11. An official report from East Africa states:—"A small and exhausted German force, short of food and ammunition, moved up the Lujenda Valley into Portuguese territory, capturing small posts. It subsequently dispersed into raiding parties between Lako Nyassa and Port Amelia. British mounted troops followed tho enemy up the Lujenda Valley, and other columns, in co-operation with the Portuguese, have landed at Port Amelia."— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter.
