TRANSFERS AND PROMOTIONS. ■ The following transfers and promotions in the Police Force are announced— Sub-Inspector Broberg, Auckland, to he transferred to Wellington. . Senior-Sergeant Wohltnaiui, Christchurch, promoted sub-inspector, and to replace Sub-Inspector Broberg at Auckland. "■ . ■ _". Senior-Sergeant Cummings, .tlotorua, to replace Senior-Sergeant Wohlmann at Chriatchurch. Senior-Sergeant M'Keefrey, , JJuuedin, to replace Senior-Sergeant Cummings at Rotorua. Sergeant Lanigan, Auckland, promoted sonior-sergeant and to fill a vacancy at Newton, Auckland. Constable Sweeney, Martou, promoted sergeant, and transferred to Auckland. Constable Butler, Roxburgh, promoted sergeant and transferred to WelConstable Blake, district police officer, Invercargill, appointed police officer at-Rarotonga, and replaced at Invercargill by Constable- Lennon, or Dunedin, who is promoted sergeant.
