APPLICATION FOR INQUIRY REFUSED. Adelaide, January 9. The State Government has refused the application of Mr. A. W. Styles for a Supreme Court Judge to inquire into the land scandal, and has also decided to ask Mr. Jones', Government Valuator, to resign.—Press Assu.
