NATIONALISATION OF MINES
Sydney, January 9. The offer of the New South Wales Government to supply Victoria with a million tons of coal per annum for five years, at the price of 15s. per ton f.o.b. Newcastle, indicates that the Government contemplates the nationalisation of all the coal mines in the State.—-Press Assn.
