CRISIS IN GERMANY CAUSED BY RUPTURE I THE NEGOTIATIONS FURTHER ADVANCE IN PALESTINE In a speech delivered to trades union representatives tit Westminster, Mr. Lloyd George reviews British war aims and deals with the conditions/under which- it 's proposed to make additional calls upon the national man-power. A report that' the Allies intend to recognise the Lenin Government and that Britain intends to recog-nise.-Litvinoff, the Bolshevik envoy, is denied. Germany lias rejected a Russian proposal that negotiations should he transferred to Stockholm. It is stated that in Southern Russia the Bolsheviki have completely failed, and that the Cossacks and Ukrainian troops are advancing. Much aerial activity is reported in the Western theatre, where British squadrons have attacked many aerodromes, railway junctions, and other centres. A further advance has heen made in Palestine.
