Owing to the fact that an insufficient number of candidates were nominated, an extraordinary vacancy, has been created in connection with the South Wainirnpa Ilivor Board. It ia expected that Mr. \V. liume will bo nominated. The members declared to bo elected are: Messrs. Alfred Matfchows (retiring chairman), Chtts. Matthews, Q. Donald (retiring members), and J. T. Dagg. .Mr. H. C. Wilkinson, a member for a considerable period, has retired.
