An interesting wedding took place St. James's Church, Riccarton, on Boxing Day, the Rev. 6. W. Christian officiating, when Nurse Leilah E. Mills, of Wellington, but for a long time past a nurse at Haiimcr Springs,! was married to Sergeant "William T. Woods, or Christcliurch, who was so _ severely wounded as to lose his eyesight. The bridesmaid was Miss Violet Mills, sistercr the bride, and tho best man was Mr. H. J. Knight, also a returned soldier. Major Morrison gave the bride
away. , ' Biting winds of winter play havoc with the complexion and the hands. But if yon use Sydal. your face, neok, and arms will be as soft and white as ever.
