SIR DOUGLAS HAIG'S REPLY. (RecT December 27, 0.20 a.m.) London, December 26. Si-: Douglas Haig, in acknowledging the King's message to the troops, assures His Majesty of tho Forces dcteimination to fight in defence of the integrity and honour of the Empire until final victory is secured. Sir Douglas Haig sent a message to the Governors-General of tho Dominions and tho Governor of Newfoundland, conveying tho season's heartiest good wishes of all ranks to the respective countries. Ho also sent a message to the Commander-in-Chief iu Indi:i and the centres of operations outside of France, conveying greetings to comrades—Aus.-N.Z. Cable ,'issn.Reuter.
