THE MARIE TEMPEST SEASON
COJIMENCES TO-NIGHT. The much-dißcussed season of the World's famous comedj' actress; Miss J.'.nrie Tempest, will commence i:t the Grand Opera House this evening, with the brilliant tliree-acfc comedy. "The Miirriage of Kitty," in which Miss Tempest will bo seen injier famous impeisonation of Kitty Silverton, a part in which she has scored a remarkable series of triumphs in London, Now York, and Australia. She iiiis played thn part in London one thousand times, and over 500 in New York. The inclusion in the cast of Mr. fJraham Browne should lend an added iittraction. Mr. Browne will be seen as fjir Reginaia Belsize, in which he appeared for a number of yeare in London gc the Duke of York's Theatre, and n'so in America, The cast is-as follows:— Sir Reginald Belsize, Graham EWuwne; John Travers, solicitor; Sidney Stirling, Norbury, Leslie Victor: Tlnrnpton, Frank Allnnby; Rosalie, Ethel Morri : eon; Madame de Semiano ■ nnd Kitty Silverton, Miss Marie Tempest. wThe Marriage of Kitty" will be staged for t!:-. , first five nights. On New Year's Night the second production of the sea--80.1 will be given, Somerset Maugham's comedy, "Penelope," which has proved as successful as its predecessor.
