ARABS DESTROY A TROOP TRAIN
MANY TURKS AND MUCH BOOTL CAPTURED. (ltec, Deeombor 23, 5.10 p.m.) London, December 21. The War Office states that Arabs under King Hejaz's son destroyed a troop train southward of Tebuk, killjng or taking prisoner the whole of a Turkish detachment. and capturing three hundred rifles, much ammunition, and twenty-four thousand pounds of Turkish gold.—Aus.-N.Z.
