The proceedings of district cO'irtsmartial held at Trentham Camp on December 13 and 18 oil the undermentioned soldiers, having been coniirmed. avo hereby pomulgated: No. 21,009 Private E. Hickson, Camp Quarterniaster'6 Staff, found guilty or deserting His Majesty's _ #cr/ice and losing by neglect his equipment,, clotninu and regimental necessaries, was sentenced to 84 days' imprisonment with bard labour, and stoppages to pay for deficiencies iu kit amounting tO Is. » /il'm T\ No. G2.833 Private L. C. Stil's, Details (late Thirty-first Reinforcements), found guilty when on active service of deserting His Majesty's service, vas sentenced to imprisonment witb tiard labour for six months. Thi' _eiitenco is mitigated eo that if the accused embarks for active service outside New Zealand, then on arrival at tho o'eN seas base of the unit to wliich bo is attached the unexpired portion (if any) of his sentence shall be remitted and his records shall bo endorsed accordingly. '
