THE RAID OFF TYNEMOUTH
OFFICIAL STATEMENT. London, December 18. In tho House of Commons, Dr. T. J. Macriamara (Secretary to the Admiralty), replying to a question, said that enemy destroyers attacked two trawlers off tho mouth of the Tync at 4.30 on tho morning of December 12. One trawler was damaged and the other eunk. Eight of the crow are reported ldlleQ. Two neutral merchantmen were sunk about the same time.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
