CONGRESS VOTES FOR PROHIBITION
NATIONAL BAN REFERRED TO STATE LEGISLATURES. Washington, December 17. The House has carried Prohibition by 282 votes to 128. Two-thirds of the States must ratify tho change.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
