FIRE AT AUCKLAND

'X fire last night in the three-story irick buildings occupied by the 'Electric Construction Company rand Dowking and Sneddon, -upholsterers, gutted the ground floor and did considerable damage on the first and second ( floors. ' Dowking and Sneddon's stock was destroyed and the Eleotric Construction Company's stock considerably damaged. Th'o latter was 1 insured for '£400 in the South British office.
