KARORI CLUB
The Karori Rifle Club fired the third match of its second series at Miramar on Saturday. Tho weather conditions were unfavourable for high scoring, a strong rear wind accounting for many bad breaks in Jomo promising scores. Tho veteran of the club (Rflmn. W. H. Cox) and the. club's junior member (Rflmn. J. Gilmour) shared tho honours for the afternoon. Tho former, who is now in liis sixty-seventh year, has put up.somo very good performances re* cently. OLD NAVALS CLUB. The Old Navals Defence Rifle Club commenced their second series competition on Saturday afternoon. _ 'lie conditions were ten shots and sighter at each 300 and 500 yards.
