The sixth annual general meeting of tho Co-operative Assuranco Co., Ltd., was held on November 29, all the directors and a representative body of shareholders being present. Mr. G. Mason Allard.-chairman of the board,' presided, and movSd the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the motion being seconded by Mr. H. Tor- j rens Ward,' chairman of the South Australian Board. After Borne discussion, Mr. James S. Inch explained the general poljcy of the company regarding war risks,,, and the restrictions placed by war conditions upon the business of life insurance generally. The report was unanimously adopted, and, on the motion of Mr. F. W. Bacon, a cordial vote of thanks was unanimously accorded to the board and staff for their able management of the company's affaire during tho recent critical period oovered by the report in question. The retiring directors, Messrs. G. Mason Allard, and J. T. Ralston were reelected, and Messrs. F. J. Smith 'and Johnson, the company's auditors, were reelected on the motion of Mr. F. W. Bacon, seconded by Mr. G. S. Littlejohn. Customs duty collected at the port of. Wellington on Saturday amounted to £5925 19s. 9d. CHEESE PRICES IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph-PrJss Association-Copyright.
