STRIKE WAR IN THE ARGENTINE
TROUBLE ENTERS UPON A REVOLU- " TIONARY PHASE (Rec. December 9, 5.5 p.m.) Buenos Aires, December 8. The strike movement is assuming a revolutionary character. Tho strikers at Berisso cut the electric cables supplying La Plata. The city is in darkness, and the tramways have stopped. The strikers then fusilladed the packing houses and marines roplied with their machine-guns. - Tho Berisso powerbouse is in flames. The managements contemplate closing down freezing and packing operations until life and property is guaranteed. The police are worse than useless.
