TURKS CHASED FOR 25 MILES
BRITISH PURSUIT IN MESOPOTAMIA (Rec. December 10, 0.30 a.m.) London, December 9. An official report from Mesopotamia states:—"Wβ pursued the Turks as far ;as the village of Karatepoh, twenty-five miles northward of Deliabbdah, through which the enemy was driven on Wednesday, after a sharp engagement. The pursuit was conducted in difficult country. The- British, with the Russians on their right flank, showed great endurance in overcoming all obstacles."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Eeuter. . ■
