BOYS' CRICKET LEAGUE
A special geueral meeting was presided over ou Wednesday evening by Air. H. J. Uuck, when a completely new set of mica was discussed find adopted. Tho rules are as recently submitted to clubs, with tho exception that tho last sentence of Itulo b was deleted and tho following' substituted: "If transfers are not registered within threo days of the inakh tho Management Committee shall have tho right on request from any club to inquire into tho granting of such translers, and may order any match or matches to be replayed." At tho subsequent meeting ot the Management Comnlitteo it was decided to play no ma.tcb.ee on December 22, and to recommence senior games on January 12 and junior games on. February 2. Marist, Newtown, was given permission to withdraw its A team, and several players wero granted transfers to the Mariet Thorndon'Club. The secretary explained that lie had written to Christchurch • asking for matches jto ho played at Christmas. A telegram has now been received stating such games can ho arranged.
