PETITIONER AWARDED £750 DAMAGES. £y Telegraph—Press Association. _ Wanganui, November 29. A defended divorce case which has occupied the attention of Mr. Justice Edwards and a jury for days was concluded to-day. The parties were Edward George Rabone, contractor, petitioner, and Nina Mace Rnbone, respondent, and Alexander R«id, publican, of Hunterville, co-respondent, from whom tho petitioner claimed £1500 damages.

The respondent, in evidence, admitted adultery.

The jury returned a verdict iu. favour of the petitioner, with £750 damngos.

His Honour made a decree nisi order and costs on the highest scale.
