EX-TSAR'S DAUGHTER AS DEMOCRATIC APOSTLE. (Rcc. November 27, 7.30 p.m.) New York, November 26. It is announced that Tatiana Romanoff, second daughter of tho ex-Tsar, has oscaped from Siberia, and is en route across tho Pacific to New York. She will lecture and write for the benefit of the Russian Civilian Relief Committee. She urges the United States not to abandon Russia, but to combat the Socialistio German influences. She does not desire tho restoration of her-father to the monarchy, but favours a strong democratic government resembling that of the United States. She- hopes to assist to replace Russia in her position with tho Ames. Tho ex-Princess escaped through a mock marriage with a son of the exCourt Chamberlain. This permitted her to gain her freedom—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
