KUMAR A PLANTS
_ With • reference, to the notice published in last month's "Journal" or the Department of Agriculture regarding the of surplus kumara plants from the - Tauranga Horticultural Station, several hundred applications were received from different parts of the Dominion. 'The manager of the station lias sent out a large number of plants, but the available stock is now exhausted, and it has been impossible for him to deal with all the applications.
