CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS AND THE VOTE
BRITISH PARLIAMENT TO DECIDE London, November 21. The Government has announced that it will leave the House free to-day to vote on tho proposal to deprive conscientious objectors of the vote. Mr. Bonar Law announcod that he would support tho amendment. depriving objectors of this right because the safety of the State is the first charge upon the State—Aub.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
OBJECTORS DISFRANCHISED, (Rec. November 22, 9.20 p.m.)
London, November 22. In the House of Commons the amendment to the Electoral Reform Bill disfranchising conscientious objectors was adopted by 209 votes to 171.—Reuter.
