VICTORIA COLLEGE COUNCIL

The Council of Victoria College mot last evening. Present: Mr. C. Watson (chairman), Professor Hunter, Dr. Hector, Professor G arrow, Rev. W. A. Evans, Messrs. R. M'Callum, M.P., R. A. Wright, M.P., P. Levi, W. H. Morton, C. B. Morison, K.C., W. S. La Trobe, and F. H. Bakewell. The annual report of the Professorial Board, dealing -with the work of the college during the year, was laid upon the table. Accounts amounting to £1078 18s. 4d. were passed for payment. The Finance and Business Committee recommended that a lecturer should be appointed in Evidence and Criminal and Civil Procedure. It- referred to the council the question of establishing accountancy classes.

The council oonsidered this report and other matters in committee.
