MASTER-TON HORTICULTURAL SO CIETY'S EXHIBITION,

The annual rose and sweet pea show ot the Masterton Horticultural Societ.y was held to-day, and was a great success, notwithstanding tho rain that set in yesterday. Tho exhibition of rosea was excellent. The rose bowl for tho champion rosu ill the show was won by Miss Blatchford, with a fine specimen of "George Dixon.." The silver challenge bowl for the best collection ol sweet peas went to ilia. 0. I<\ Vallauce, while Mrs. 11. L. Price won the championship for pansiea. Tho receipts from the show go to the Trench Comforts Fund.
