FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for highly southerly -winds northwards ei New Plymouth and Castlepolnt and southeasterlies elsewhere. Expect further unsettled cloudy -weather, -with- heavy rain, cßpccially over the North Island and in the north-east districts of the south, and snow on high levols. Barometer rise everywhere soon, A disturbance centred in tho north has been responsible for unsettled, cloudy, and mißly conditions, with rain generally; moderate to strong southerly winds have predominated.
