WAIRARAPA P. AND A. ASSOCIATION
The "Wairarapa and East Coast V. and A. Society have received the following donations of trophies for future compel l-lions.-.-Mr. G. B. Allen, of "Tipun," Carterton, a 15-guinea challenge cup, for competition in Bomney Marsh sheop; Mrs. J. B. M'Kenzie, Masterton, a rose-bowl, for competition for most points in • cookery classes, to he won three times, provisionally that no restriction is made as to the number of entries an exhibitor may make in each class; Mr. W. Barton, Featherston, a special prize for Friesian classes next year; and Mr. A. Moody, of Waihakeko, £b, for tho grade Shorthorn classes. Mr. \V. Koid, of Feilding, has also promised to donale a challenge trophy far competition in tho fat sheep classes. . During the past year, 101 now members were elected by the society. _ There are some forty members of the society on active service, all of whom aro being kept good on the books of the society.
