THE GERMAN REPORT London, November 19. A German communique states: "The enemy fruitlessly repeated his attacks north-east of Asiago. The military critic of the "Corriere della Sera" states that, according to Hie statement of prisoners, fresh enemy contingents have arrived at :.ho Piavc River from tho Russian front. Tho baltlo continues to grow in dimensions and in intensive violence. General Kvobatin, descending from tho Cnrnia and Cadore, m directing tho attack, and is supported by lightning thrusts by General Conrad von Hoetzendorf on the Asiago Plateau; but tho enemy attacks at Qnero, on the Piavo (ten miles south of.Peltre), broke down before tho stubborn resistance of the Como brigade.
