COTTER, THE CEICKETEH. Sydney, November 20. Albert Cotter, the well-known cricketer, has been killed in action.—Press Association.

He first came into prominence with the Glebe Club, at Sydney, and, after a fame or two with the State team, he wns chosen in the two last test matches iipiinst Warner's side of 19024. He was a power-fully-built young fellow, and his delivery wns more round-arm than >>ver-,irm. Despite a long run he could keep up his pace fnr a considerable time before tiring. TTis length was somewhat crrotic, but his "rorker" would afte.n find the best of batsmen wanting.
