Sir Douglas Haig reports:—"A strong raiding party this morning entered certain points along our trenches in tho ; neighbourhood of Gillcmont Farm, southeast of Bpihy. BIG GERMAN ATTACK ON PASSCHENDAELE EXPECTED (B«c. Noveiriber 19, 10.40 p.m.) London, November 19. Mr. Philip Gibbs writes:—"Wo are prepared for a big German offensive to recover Pflsschendnele from the direction of Westroosebeke. A French official communiquo states:— "There is intermittent reciprocal artillery firing in the Vnndewone region, and towards Schoenholz.
