PUBLIC SERVICE TOURNAMENT. Owing to the success of the inaugura-te-tournament held..by Departments of the Public Service ou St. Patrick's Day it has beon decided to hold another on St. Andrew's Day, November 30, when it is. anticipated that - sixteen Departments will take part in'it. At a meeting of Departmental representatives, Colonel E. J. Collings, 1.5.0., C.M.G. (Auditor-General), was elected president and Mr. W. R. Jourdain (Lands and Survey Department) honorary secretary, whilst Mr G. Scott (Treasury) will assist with the duties of tho tournament. Tho Wellington and Thorndon' Bowling Clubs have kindly granted the use of rinks on their greens, and every, endeavour will bo niado to ensuro tho success of the forthcoming gathering.'
