"WANTED" BY THE ARMY

ANOTHER DEFAULTERS' LIST

FIRST DIVISION MEN WHO HAVE NOT APPEARED

Another list of defaulters under , the Military Service Act was issued last night by the Defence Department in a Gazette Extraordinary. The list contains the names of First Division mou who have been drawn in various ballots but have not attended for medical examination after the dispatch to their addresses of the official notices. The men are directed now, under Clause 13 of the Military Service Act, to renprt at the Defence offices in their various groups for medical examination at 10 a.m. on November 22. Failure to comply with this notice 'renders them liable to be treated as deserters.

It is possible, as in the case of other defaulters' lists, that somo of the men in this list will ba found to have joined the Forces, or to have died, and others may have failed to receive the official notices owing to somo error in their addresses or to their failure to notify changes of addresses.
