TWO GISBORNE CASES, By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, November 16. The cbbb of..Erank Parnell, charged with setting fire to the gasworks office, was'before the Magistrate this morning. Mr. Barton,'S.M., held that a prima facie case had not been made out, and discharged accused., 1 John Sheriff Dods, another /employee of the company,- was chnrged'with emibezzlihg various amounts, the total inivolved between' March, 1915, and May, 1918, being .61713. Accused pleaded guilty on the first series of oharges, and was'committed for sentence. Accused was also charged) with arsou, and the case is proceeding. '
