CHRISTMAS GIFT FUND
At the Grand Oporn House on Wednesday next the "Charley's Aunt" Club will give a performance in aid of the Soldiers' Christinas Gift Fund. Threo of the latest ono-act plays will 1)9 produced in thn first part of the programme. "Tho. Avenger" will be played by Miss Mabel Hardinge-Maltby, Miss E'nby Scott, Mr. W. W. Crawford, and Mr. Ken. Aitkcn. "The Eleventh Hour," a new one-net play, will be produced for the first time in New Zealand. "Kisses and Misses," a screaming comedy, will conclude the first part of the progrnmme. The second part of the programmo will be tho first appearanco of the club's costume comedy compnny, "Tho Cheero's," introducing Albert Russell, Norman Aitko'n, W. W. Crawford, G. Austin Blackie, Charles Moore, Winnie Birch-Johnston, Eileen Millar, Eileen Driecoll, 11. Tracoy. "Tho Cheero's" production is under the stage direction of Maud Bletsoo-Buckeridgo. The box plan will open at the Bristol on Thursday morning.
