A report from Egyptian Headquarters slates: "The tide ot our advance has now reached the Wadi Sukereir, where tho Turks aro, reported to be holding the northern bank. The enemy made a brief stand at a ridgo north of Beit Durah, and checked our cavalry, but were dislodged by a bayonet charge by Scottish troops. Tho Turkish losses sinco the beginning of tho month are estimated at 12,000 killed, wounded, and prisoners.—Reuter. TURKS SURRENDERING FREELY VIGOROUS PRESSURE MAINTAINED. London, Novombsr 12. Mr. W. T. Maesoy, writing from Gaza, states: "The enemy continues his retirement, and we are'pressing him hard. The Turks aro now surrendering freely. Elmiueh Junction, upon the Jerusalem railway, is burning, as (he result of a heavy shell blowing up an ammunition train standing, at the station. We have already taken 5000 prisoners, sixty guns, thousands of shells, and millions of cartridges. The Turks have destroyed vast quantities of material, which they could ill spare. Our armies are in the highest spirits. The Turks, harried by our ceaseless puisuit on a wide front, aro preparing to leave a further Important posi-tion."—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo issn. TURKS ORGANISING FOR A RESISTANCE (Rec. November 13, 7.25 p.m.) London, November 12. An official report from Egypt states: "Tho Turks aro organising behind Che north branch of the Wadi ■ Sukereir, south and eastward, covering Bcitibrin and Hebron. Our mounted men made progress towards Eltine.
