LAND SALE AT SHANNON. On Friday, at Shannon, there ivas a large attendance of farmers. w;hen tile properties in tho estate of Arthur May Jtiohardßon (doceasod) weru submitted to auction. Mr. J. H. Hanlnns read the conditions of sale, after which Mr. L'orritt, of Abraham and Williams, Ltd., auctioned the various lots. Tho demand was not brisk at tho sale, only Lot 2 being fold, but, the three remaining lots were sold after the auction. Tile priccs and buyers were as follow:— •Lot 1, J acre, township of Shannon, to A. E. Trcmewan at £109. Lot 2, 20 acres, Thompson Street. Shannon, to Mrs. W. Z. Richardson, at £72 per aero. Lot 3. 98 acres 1 rood 6 perches, Kara Road, Shannon, to Mr. T. F. Jamic6on, at £39 per.acre. Lot 1, 93 acres t rood 16 perches, near Lot 3. to Mr. T. H. A. TTemewan, at £23 per acre. Four i-acre sections on account of Mr. G. N. Stephenson were also offered, but were passed in.
