BOWLS
THE DOMINION TOURNAMENT. The Dominion Bowling Association's tournament this year is to be held at Dunedin, and will extend from Thursday, January 10, to Tuesday, January 22 (inclusive). Play will commence with the pairs, which will bo played on January 10, 11, and 12. The rinks will bo played on January M, 15, 16, and 17. Friday and Saturday, January 18 and 19, will be devoted to tho completion of tho pairs and rinks, and tho interisland match, and the final two days (January 21 and 22) have been set apart for the singles. The arrangement is.,a 'happy one, for' as the bulk of the players are more interested in the rink games they will be able to time their movements so as to commence play on the Monday, and finish up either on the succeeding Friday or Saturday. No changing of players will be allowed, except in cases of illness or enforced absence from Dunedjn, in which case a substitute may be ap-. pointed by or subject to the approval on the Tournament Committee. In yesterday's bowling notes it was inadvertently stated\that the Wellington Club would be represented by eight rinks in the inter-club competition this year. 'JThe number should havo been twelve rinks.
The following teams will represent Seatoun against Eastbourne on Saturday: Awav—Berry, Kircher, Bradley, W. P. M'Glrr (s.). Home—Cnrey, Booth, Moston, Lauchlan (s.). Juniors to play Hataitai, at Seatoun—Mason, Grace, Williamson, Taylor (s.).
